A Highlight of Mental Health Day Celebration at WA Cameroon

A highlight of the Mental Health Day celebration held at WA Cameroon on 28 May 2024 was the making of menstrual hygiene bracelets.

Guided by the belief that "there is dignity in work," WA Cameroon continues to improve the livelihoods of women, men and young people, with particular attention to vulnerable women, girls and survivors of Gender-Based Violence.

Over the years, the organisation has provided livelihood support to approximately 5,000 women and girls through agricultural inputs, livestock, small businesses, hairdressing, tailoring, pedicure, manicure and other income-generating activities.

WA Cameroon expressed appreciation to its partners and sponsors while encouraging beneficiaries to continue investing in their skills and livelihoods.
